Exchange students

Exchange student implies that your home university has a formal agreement for exchange studies with Malmö Academy of Music/Lund University. Check with the International Office at your university or see under Agreements on the left side.
You apply for the exchange at your home university; either through your central International Office or through an international coordinator at your department or faculty. Your home university must nominate you as an exchange student.
Application deadline for both autumn and spring semester is in March.

Courses for other international students
- Contact the International Office of your home university and find out about the procedures required in order to apply as an exchange student. Once you are nominated by your home university for exchange studies you should follow the required application procedures.
- Use the standard AEC form ”Application form for Student Exchange”, the NORDPLUSMUSIC form or any specific form used by your home institution
- Together with the application you send a recording (CD or DVD) + a Learning agreement + a CV + a personal letter. Mp3-files or similar, will not be accepted.
Please note that Nordplus/Erasmus candidates for Trumpet are required to do a live audition, a recording is not sufficient.
Following should be sent to Malmö Academy of Music together with the application form:
1 - four to six (4-6) scores representing various ensemble types as
orchestra, chamber orchestra, minor chamber groups, choir and the
electroacoustic medium
2 - live or MIDI recordings if possible
3 -
work note for each piece
4 - complete work list
5 - CV
