Fees and scholarships
Students who are citizens of countries outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are generally required to pay application and tuition fees of SEK 190 000 (20 500 Euro) per year.

Residence permit and insurance
Citizens of an EU or EEA country must apply for a residence permit in Sweden within three months following entry to the country.
Permanent residents, who are not citizens of an EU or
EEA country, must apply for a residence permit at the Swedish Embassy in
the home country before departure.
Other regulations apply for
students from other countries. When applying, you must include a copy of
valid passport or identification card along with a letter confirming
your status as a scholarship holder ("letter of acceptance"), a
certificate/statement of financial support, or some other document
stating how you will finance your stay in Sweden (grant, loan, family
support, and/or other means).
You also need to verify that you
have a health insurance. EU citizens need European Health Insurance Card, form E128 or E111. You need all
these documents when applying for a residence permit in Sweden or at the
Swedish Embassy in your home country.
Please note that the
Academy of Music can’t guarantee any financial help for you. The
education is, however, free from application- and tuition fees if you
are a citizen within EU, EEA or Switzerland. Your acceptance for
studies is valid on the condition that you have a residence permit.
