Arranging/Composition | Classical Specialisation
The Bachelor's programme in Arrangement/Composition, classical specialisation, is aimed at you who want to become a classical arranger but with practical skills in classical composition as well. The goal is for you to find your own personal expression in your arrangements and compositions.
You will also develop your organisational skills in addition to your artistic and professional abilities so that after completing the programme you should be fully prepared to work creatively in in an ever-changing cultural scene.
The programme will give you a solid craft foundation in arranging as well as in traditional music theory in subject areas such as harmonisation, four-part movement, form theory, analysis, notation and music theory. In addition, you will get the skills required to study the Master's programme, where you will find a high degree of independence. Teaching is given in composition, electroacoustic music, instrumentation, hearing / analysis, counterpoint, piano / hearing playing, music and society, ensemble management with conducting and music as a profession in the form of individual lessons, group lessons and seminars. Projects and degree projects are included.
