Researchers and doctoral students from Malmö Academy of Music have participated through talks and lectures about their artistic research in music and composition students have composed new pieces for organ that have been performed in Lund Cathedral. Odeum is Lund University's center for student-based music-making, concerts, lectures and education. They also organise Lund Contemporary which is a festival for art music with newly written music, panel discussions and experimental experiences with interactive elements, in a varied program.
