The Southern Choral Centre (Körcentrum Syd) is a choir centre established by Lund University which aims to work as a platform for the choral life in southern Sweden. The long-term objective is to strengthen choral activities through education, development, and research.

The following institutions are represented on The Southern Choral Centre's board: Lund University via Malmö Academy of Music and Odeum, Musik i Syd, Lars-Erik Larsson-gymnasiet and the Church of Sweden.

Since its launch in 2008, The Southern Choral Centre has made major efforts to develop the regions choral life and activities. Mainly through collaboration with different educational and cultural institutions, but also by promoting educational and artistic renewal and knowledge development. The Southern Choir Centre also places great emphasis on children's and young people's choral singing, and today the centre works as a meeting place, a resource centre and a source of inspiration.
