Due to Covid-19, the auditions for admission 2021 will to some extent be carried out via electronic samples of work. Read more in the links below about what applies to the programme and the specialization you are applying for.

Last day for compulsory additions at www.universityadmissions.se
Deadline for sending in samples of work for applicants to Bachelor's Programmes, Composition Programmes, and for some of the Master's Programmes (does not apply to the Church Music Programmes who carrie out all their tests in Malmö during week 9). Read more in the specific audition information for your programme.
Last day to pay tuition fee at www.universityadmissions.se
Beginning of February
Invitation to audition at the Malmö Academy of Music for applicants to the Bachelor's Programme will be sent to the e-mail address provided in your application.
Deadline for sending in samples of work for applicants to Master's Programmes. Read more in the specific audition information for your programme.
Week 9 (March 1-7)
Auditions for the Church Music Programmes.
Week 10 (March 8-14)
Auditions, Round II for Bachelor's Programmes, and for some of the Master's Programmes.
The Malmö Academy of Music accepts a great number of international Bachelor's and Master's students every year. International Bachelor's and Master’s applicants must follow the same procedures for admission as Swedish nationals.
- Application for the Bachelor's Programme (except for the World Music specialisation) must be carried out at the Swedish website www.antagning.se, even if you are an international applicant.
- Application for the Master's Programme and for the Bachelor's Programme: World Music specialization, can be done in English at www.universityadmissions.se
In order to be offered a place at the performance programme you have applied for, in addition to passing results on your audition, you also need to have approved results on other qualifying tests. Which tests you need to complete depends on which programme and which specialization you are applying for. Follow the link below to take part in the information that applies to you.
