Exchange studies Music Teacher Education

As an exchange student you can apply for studies during the autumn semester or for the whole academic year. We offer no admission during spring semester only. When applying you need to state in which genre you want to study. The genres/specialisation are: Jazz, Folk/worldmusic, Pop/Rock, Classical, Singer-songwriter, Vocal mixed genre. Your Audition videos decides if you will get admitted to your applied genre.

How to proceed:

  1. Choose courses from the list of elective courses below (the number of courses can vary between 5-8)
  2. Enter the desired ECT’s points for each course
  3. Inform your home university and make sure that it matches your study plan
  4. State your selected courses in your Learning agreement (the basis from which we plan your exchange studies)
  5. In your application you need to add a recording of three songs within your genre (= the genre you want to study at Malmö Academy of Music). You need to upload the recordings in the european Application system EASY (MP3, MP4 or link to youtube).
