Access

The Library is open to all members of the Academy (students, faculty, staff ) for loans, reference and listening. External readers and members of the public have access to books but sheet music, DVD’s and CD’s are only available to members of the Academy.

Library cards

Your LU-card is also used as a library card. You just need to first register for a library account via LUBcat, the online library catalogue of the Lund University. The LU-card is valid as long as you are employed or study at Lund University. If you are not affiliated with Lund University and have a LU-card, you will need to visit one of the libraries of Lund University to register a library acount.

News about lending routines

The libraries at Lund University will go back to normal lending routines as of 15 September 2021. Overdue fines will again be generated for chargeable material that is returned too late. We will also be going back to the routine that loans are renewable five times for students, instead of eleven times as has been an interim measure.
