ACADEMIC YEAR 2020-2021
The academic year begins week 35. All students who are admitted to a new programme at the Malmö Academy of Music will participate in our orientation days on Aug 24–28, with workshops, concerts, programme information, study guidance and more. Due to Covid-19, the start time for Monday will vary for new students on different programmes and specializations. These times will be announced later by e-mail.
Other students will join on Thursday, Aug 27 at 9 am on Zoom. A link to the meeting will be sent out a few days before Aug 27. The orientation days will conclude on Friday, Aug 28 at 1:30 pm–2:30 pm with a webinar with opera singer Rickard Söderberg for all students and teachers.
The University’s handling of the coronavirus
Lund University has decided that teaching may again be conducted on the University’s premises, provided that the regulations of the Swedish Public Health Agency’s rules, general guidelines and recommendations to reduce the spread of Covid-19 are to be observed. Priority is to be given to teaching and assessment that is impossible, or possible only with great difficulty, to conduct remotely.
During the fall term 2020, studies will take place both in the academy premises and remotely. Stay up-to-date on the situation by following our information on the Academy’s website.
As a student at Lund University, you are assigned a student account which gives you access to a number of electronic services that Lund University offers to students; among other things, you can use it to log in to the Student Portal and your webmail. Activate your student account now
