There are three computer rooms at Malmö Academy of Music. One is open to all students with a LU card, the other two are only for teaching and students who study media technology.

Computer room for all students

Students can use the computer room's nine workstations every day between 07.00-22.45. You must have access to the computer room added to your LU card in order to get in. This is free of charge.

The power is cut off at 22.45. Save your work material often.

If there is a problem with a computer or the equipment, report it via Helpdesk. Describe what computer station it is and what type of error it is so it can be fixed as soon as possible.

Computers in the library

Students have access to the library's six computers on weekdays between 08:00-20:00.

Rules when using the computers at Malmö Academy of Music:

  • Use your Lucat ID and login password.
  • You may not consume food or drinks while using the school computers.
  • You must follow the university's rules for computer networks.

Read more about rules for computer networks at Lund University (LU)

Students who do not follow the above rules risk being suspended from the computer rooms.
