Use Helpdesk to order service and technical equipment, report errors, and request access to rooms you have booked.
At the reception at Malmö Academy of Music you will get help with:
- Your LU card*
- Keys and Keycards*
- Copying and printing*
- Collection and delivery of small, previously ordered, technical equipment
- Sales of envelopes and personal stationary
- Borrowing music stands and music stand lights
- Borrowing the key to the restroom
- Allocation of lockers

At the beginning of the term you will be issued an LU card. The LU card is important since it functions as a on-premise ID card. You need it to access the building, the library as well as different rooms and studios. You also need it to use the printer and copy machines.
Keys and Keycards
Based on programme/course and main instrument, students are allowed to have access to special teaching rooms and studios. Access is added to your LU card. This is free of charge.
For some rooms/studios you need a physical key. You can collect it in reception for a deposit of 200 SEK. You can pay by card or Swish. Once you return the key your money will be refunded.
Based on the programme/course and instrument you teach, you will need access to different teaching rooms and studios. Access will be added to your LU card. For some rooms/studios you need a physical key, which you collect in reception.
If you need a key/card temporarily, you can borrow one from reception for the day. The key/card should be returned immediately after use. If the reception is closed, please use the mail slot on the door next to the reception.
Student lockers are assigned depending on which programme you are studying at and what your main instrument of study is.
Please do not store anything on top of your locker. The Academy is not responsible for any private valuables.
Remember that you must empty your locker and remove your pad lock when you graduate. You must also empty your locker if you go on a study break. When you come back you will be assigned a new one. If this is not respected, the service unit will have to cut your pad lock.
