Use Helpdesk
At Malmö Academy of Music, Helpdesk is used as a contact point for most things - from ordering services, instruments and technical equipment, to reporting errors, and requesting access to rooms you have booked.
The units you reach via Helpdesk are called Backstage and include:
- The Service unit
- TI (Technical Production & Instrument Services)
- The IT unit
Accessing Helpdesk if you are not on campus
For IT security reasons, you must be logged in with a VPN to access Helpdesk if you are not at the academy, for example when you are at home or travelling. VPN stands for ‘Virtual Private Network’ and is a way to encrypt traffic and create a secure connection between your computer and Lund University.

When you are on campus, you do not need to use VPN to access Helpdesk. There is also a computer in the reception that you can use to order requests and report errors in Helpdesk.
