Technical installations and equipment on campus
The rooms and concert halls at Malmö Academy of Music are equipped with technical equipment adapted for the teaching that takes place in each room. If a change is needed, it is made in consultation with the TI unit (Technical Production & Instrument Service).
The following rules apply:
- The equipment in rooms and halls must not be moved. If you need extra equipment, contact the TI unit via Helpdesk.
- Ensemble rooms are equipped with public cables, microphone stands and music stands. These must not be moved.
- You can get a technical review of a concert hall together with a technician when planning a concert.
- Use Helpdesk to make a report if something is broken.
Rules for private equipment on the school premises
Malmö Academy of Music takes no responsibility for private equipment that is left on the school premises. In cases where private equipment is used, it must be stored in the student's own locker.
In general, students are encouraged not to leave their own equipment at school. If an exception is made, it is the owner's responsibility to mark the equipment/instrument, so it is clearly visible who it belongs to.
