Close up: Postgraduate student Markus Tullberg

eng subs avaliable

Markus Tullberg is one of our postgraduate students in the research programme in Music education. Listen to him talk about his project about the relationship between musicians and their instruments. And his love for the Simple-System flute.

"I'm trying to develope a model that explains this relationship so that I can bring the phenomenon of musicians/musical instruments into a broader perspective /.../ I hope that my results can help musicians detect what is underneath the surface to challenge and develop their way of playing."

Markus Tullberg will be defending his project "Wind and wood, an exploration of musician/musical instrument relationships" later this year. Right now the project is exhibited in the Researchers' Gallery in the library.
