Student union
The student union at the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts is an association of students from Malmö Academy of Music, Malmö Art Academy and Malmö Theatre Academy.
Each institution has its own separate union section and students are represented on each institution's Faculty Board, Board of Directors, and Study Council. Students are also represented on the Academic Appointments Board, which sees to new hires and the promotion of teachers.
The student union’s main task is to guard, maintain and improve the quality of the education but they also arrange social activities. The union is a non-religious and non-partisan organisation.
