The aim of the project is:
- To enrich and strengthen the jazz programmes at the Malmö Academy of Music, thereby enhancing their competitiveness both nationally and internationally.
- To further develop the jazz programmes in order to enable cross-genre and cross-disciplinary activities. The focus is on advancing the bachelor’s and jazz pedagogy programmes, but above all the master’s programme in improvisation. Particular emphasis is placed on deepening the education with regard to students’ roles as both creative music makers and performing musicians.
