Key dates for your application
- Apply for the programme at universityadmissions.se
Application period: 2 December 2024 – 15 January 2025.
- Confirm your eligibility. Deadline for supporting documentation to confirm your eligibility is 27 January 2025.
- Admission test takes place on-site at Malmö Academy of Music during week 10, 2025. Exact date and time are stated in the invitation, which will be sent to the email address you provided when you applied for the programme.
- Admission decision (first selection): 10 April 2025 on My pages at universityadmissions.se
- Deadline for accepting your place: 24 April 2025 on My pages at universityadmissions.se
- Admission decision (second selection): 7 May 2025 on My pages at universityadmissions.se
Admission test
At the admission test you perform:
- W. A. Mozart: Oboe Concerto, 1st mvt or Strauss: Oboe Concerto 1st mvt
- Telemann: One (1) fantasia from 12 Fantasias for Flute without Bass, TWV 40:2-13 (Telemann, Georg Philipp)
- One piece of your choice from the following options:
- Ponchielli: Capricio for Oboe and Piano op 80
- Kalliwoda: Morceau de Salon for Oboe and Piano
- Dutilleux: Oboe Sonata movement 1 and 2
- Pierre Sancan: Oboe Sonata movement 1 and 2 or movement 2 and 3

Reminder
In order to meet the entry requirements for a Master’s Performance Programme you have to be able to demonstrate a Bachelor’s degree in Music or equivalent at the beginning of the term.
