Performance Studies – Historical Performance Practice for String Instruments
Independent course | 1 year | 60 ECTS CREDITS
Performance Studies - Historical Performance Practice for String Instruments is a one-year university course at advanced level for students who want to refine their technical and artistic skills while immersing themselves in stylistic aspects of Baroque and Classical music.
Under the guidance of experienced teachers, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of your main instrument. Through regular individual lessons, you will develop both your technical skills and your artistic expression.
Through practical workshops in historical performance practice, you will learn about important aspects such as ornamentation, phrasing and interpretation. This will help you to refine your own musical voice.
A high artistic and technical level of your instrument is required for study. Only violin and viola are eligible for application.
