Performance Studies – Folk and World music

Independent course | 1 year | 60 ECTS CREDITS

INDEPENDENT COURSE • 60 CREDITS • 1 YEAR

Performance Studies - Folk and World Music is a one-year independent university course at advanced level for students who want to refine their performance skills both through individual practice and ensemble playing.

Instrumental studies and ensemble playing are the focus. A high artistic and technical level on your main instrument is required for studies. The programme is primarily aimed at students who have previously studied folk and world music at basic university level, but we also accept students who are not so experienced in the folk and world music genre but have a high artistic and technical level on their main instrument.

Instructions and criteria for video recordings

  • Recording: Perform and record one (1) piece/audition task per film. No technical edits are allowed.
