MASTER’S PROGRAMME IN MUSIC • 120 CREDITS • 2 YEARS

The Master’s Programme in Music, Composition – Scoring for Film and Media, gives you the opportunity to develop your creative expression and refine your ability to musically convey drama and emotion in moving images. Through a dynamic and inspiring learning environment, you will acquire the tools needed to create music that resonates, enhances, and elevates storytelling in film, games, and other media productions.

The programme also focuses on strengthening your ability to adapt your work to the demands for innovation and change within the industry. Particular emphasis is placed on collaboration with key professionals in media production, such as directors, editors, and sound designers.

The studies primarily consist of individual composition lessons, complemented by group instruction in the form of workshops and seminars. You will also receive tuition in film analysis, digital tools, electroacoustic music, music theory, and instrumentation, as well as Music as a Profession. The programme includes project work and a final degree project.

Upon graduation, you will have the artistic and technical expertise required to work professionally as a composer in a constantly evolving industry.
